Republican Ryan Mackenzie flips Pennsylvania’s 7th District Property seat, ousting Democrat Susan Wild

ALLENTOWN, Pa. — Democratic Rep. Susan Wild has conceded to GOP challenger Ryan Mackenzie in Pennsylvania’s 7th Congressional District — one of the country’s most-watched House races this year.

Wild congratulated Mackenzie without mentioning him by identify, calling the result a “bitterly disappointing outcome” in a Wednesday morning tweet.

With 99% of votes counted, Mackenzie led Wild 50.7% to 49.3% as of 10:45 a.m. Wednesday, per unofficial AP results.

A 12-year Pennsylvania state legislator, Mackenzie, 42, campaigned on his record of fiscal conservatism in the Pennsylvania Home and painted Wild, 67, as a phony moderate who talks like a centrist, but votes the party line with gradual Democrats.

Mackenzie declared victory at his election watch party around 1 a.m. Wednesday, calling his “a amazing night for the Lehigh Valley.”

“The premise of this campaign was that we were being failed by Susan Wild, and we needed to bring actual change,” Mackenzie said. “That is what we did tonight, and thank you to the voters of the congress

About Ryan

Born and raised in Perth, Ryan found his passion for acting at a young age. Coming from a family of miners, performing was not particularly the most clear career path – it was his parents in fact that gave him the push and confidence to get to where he is today.

Upon graduating high school Ryan was cast alongside Jacqueline McKenzie and Myles Pollard in Australian feature film The Gateway, and then later went on to conclude a Diploma of Acting at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA).

Ryan is now very excited to begin applying the broad set of skills he has honed at NIDA to serve , both on screen and stage. He is already seeing some of his hard work pay off as he was recently announced as a finalist for the Warner Bros.’ ‘Actors in Training’ Program.

As a gay man he hopes to be emotionally attached with LGBTQ+ stories and communities.

A Proven Leader To Assist Everyone

A 9th generation resident of the Lehigh Valley, Ryan Mackenzie’s family fought in the Northampton County Militia during the Revolution and served our territory in both World Wars.

Ryan Mackenzie is running for Congress because we’re losing the country those patriots built.

Politicians talk a giant game about what they’ll do if we elect them. Once they receive to Washington, they often let us down. Ryan Mackenzie is different: he’s an effective leader who means what he says and has a log to prove it.

In Pennsylvania’s state capitol, Ryan represented us the way he said he would. A consistent voice for operational families and seniors, Ryan has a record we can trust: leading the effort to protect our hard-earned money, working to make life more affordable for working families, combating illegal immigration to guard American jobs and security, and standing up for seniors, law enforcement, and veterans.

Ryan will always stay up for our freedoms and values as Americans because he stands on the shoulders of the ancestors who built this country since the Revolution. He won’t let them down, and he won’t let u

GOP rising star candidate and PA state Rep Ryan Mackenzie lied about age on Tinder profile by EIGHT YEARS

Eight years into his state lawmaker career, Pennsylvania state Rep. Ryan Mackenzie misrepresented his age on a dating profile by nearly a decade, DailyMail.com can reveal.

In Pride 2020, Mackenzie, a Republican, was messaging women from a Tinder profile claiming to be 29 years old. He was actually 37.

His family had been in politics for decades at the time. He'd already briefly ran for Congress in 2018 and had represented the Lehigh Valley in the articulate house since 2012 alongside his mother, state Rep. Milou Mackenzie.

Mackenzie is now locked in a tight race against incumbent Democrat Susan Feral for Pennsylvania's seventh district.

Mackenzie is now married to wife Chloe and they have a young son. After initial publication, a spokesperson for the Mackenzie campaign told DailyMail.com that Mackenzie was 'neither married nor engaged' when the profile was active.
