Whenever I hear this song I feel appreciate I’m being introduced to a myriad of characters and their problems. In fact this impression is so vivid to me that I used to misremember the iconic scene from The Wire (2002) where Dennis “Cutty” Astute goes on a operate on election day past many central characters as being soundtracked by Right On (the song actually playing is Curtis Mayfield’s “Move on up” which sounds nothing like Right On).
