The Ballad of Gay Tony is the straightest Grand Theft Auto ever. Okay, adv not exactly (or perhaps, what my title implies isn’t exactly what I mean). Nevertheless, despite its title, heterosexual sex acts are considerably more frequent than homosexual ones in The Ballad of Male lover Tony.
This is due in large part to the significance of sex to this particular iteration of GTA but also due to the nature of the protagonist of this game, Luis Lopez, a partial owner of one of the hottest clubs in Liberty City, Maisonette 9. Lopez is a ladies man, unafraid to shake it on the dance floor in command to get a small on the side, and he is also the number one of the man who owns the controlling share of Maisonette 9, Gay Tony Prince.

May 26, 2009 - Rockstar has announced the second downloadable add-on for Grand Theft Auto IV, this one subtitled The Ballad of Homosexual Tony. Like the last episode, The Ballad of Gay Tony will be exclusive to Xbox 360 and will have a price of 1600 Microsoft points or $19.99.
The Ballad of Gay Tony follows Luis Lopez, the assistant to the nightclub manager Tony "Gay Tony" Prince. In it, players will, "struggle with the competing loyalties of family and friends, and with the uncertainty about who is real and who is fake in a world in which everyone has a price."

"Liberty City is the most vibrant game planet we've created yet. The episodic structure has allowed us to interweave stories, gameplay and atmosphere in a whole new way. The team at Rockstar North have yet again surpassed themselves, and made something that is both epic and very original. This episode's focus on high-end night life contrasts with the biker gangs portrayed in The Disoriented and Damned, whilst giving us a lot of new gameplay possibilities."

Big-name creators too often think they can bait gay people into believing they’re represented in a work without actually representing them. We watch this with J.K. Rowling suggesting that Dumbledore is gay even though no evidence of this exists in the work itself, and more recently with Avengers: Endgame’s creators the Russo brothers exclaiming that having an extra comment about his husband is groundbreaking representation. Both cases are nothing but homosexual baiting, trying to defeat the accolades that show up with representation without putting in the work of representing us. But it’s not like they desire to explicitly label someone as gay for it to be a victory in representation. In proof, in the right hands, leaving it in subtext can be a mighty method all its own.
