Great place for night period fun with my LGBTQ family. What night did we go? Well, karaoke night of course! Excellent music, great bar service, and they even hold great food! I definitely recommend checking it out.

A must stop for your weekend debauchery where you will enjoy a great staff, great drinks and a great demonstrate. Whether your looking to hit the dance floor, shoot some pool or enjoy a fabulous Queenly show, this place has it all covered.

It was fun, my husband and I went to a show while visiting VA Beach in off season and had a blast. Very friendly. We were the oldest there and they were still pleasant to us. Very neighborhood kinda feel. Place was packed. Nice mix of all kinds of people with no tude.

The ‘Burg’s Gay Bar for a Night

Last Thursday bedtime, the weather was gloomy and most of Williamsburg was already asleep. The first wave of midterms had already hit the College. Despite the broke weather and busy research schedules, LGBTQ students and allies gathered at Triangle, a local bar, to enjoy a night out with their friends.

This was the second Thursday that students gathered for an event called Occupy the Triangle. Triangle also hosted the event a week before. Kyle Lopez ‘17 first organized the event in order to construct a space for LGBTQ people to enjoy a night out.

“Williamsburg was really lacking in any compassionate of LGBTQ venue for people to go to,” Lopez said. “I ponder there used to be one, but it doesn’t really exist anymore. I thought that that was super lame and something that needed to be fixed.”

One of the main reasons Lopez chose Triangle was for its room and location.

“I saw that with Triangle there was an opportunity to produce a space for that just because it’s a little bit more low-key, a little bit further away from the main strip of bars,” Lopez said.
